Tolmeetha beach extends along the north eastern coast of Libya, Tolmeetha town is about ( 40 km ) east of Tukra, ( 100 km ) east to Benghazi and separated from Almarj town by a mountain chain about ( 3 km ) wide, and area about ( 50 HA ).
The ruins of Tolmeetha town were discovered during the explorative operations in 1958. It is called Ptolemias, besides some important archeological sites in the Memorial column street. The Roman Courtyard and Tolmeetha museum.

The beach: Tolmeetha has a rocky beach and a sandy one: clean and pure.

The green mountains: Tolmeetha lies between the beach and the green mountains. The mountains are directly joined to the beach in an area called Almalka, a naturally beautiful mountain area.
