It is obvious, when looking at the attached maps, that the conical shade of the eclipse will clearly pass some African countries, one of which will be Libya. More noteworthy, the central line of that strip will pass a wide area of the Libyan land, which will allow for better viewing conditions because of the abstemious type of weather. All that will permit for a most superb opportunity for longer period of eclipse observation at the endmost part of southern libya, exactly at coordinates (23°00'N, 16°56'E).
